Terms of use

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Beta service. MeshBIM is under active development: features may change and availability is not guaranteed. Interruptions and loss of stored data, while not expected, cannot be ruled out at this stage — keep exported copies of any work that matters to you.

These terms govern your use of the MeshBIM platform — the browser-based BIM editor and the public website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

MeshBIM provides a browser-based tool, supported by our cloud service, to design, document and estimate civil-engineering projects. Part of the work runs in your browser and part runs on our servers at your request. The features available to you depend on your active plan, and the plan pages describe what each one includes.

2. Beta period

The service is currently offered in a beta phase, with access granted by approval (section 3). It is under active development: features may be added, changed or withdrawn, availability and performance are not guaranteed, and no service level is committed. Interruptions, errors and — although we work to prevent it — loss or corruption of stored data may occur. You should keep your own exported copies of any work that matters to you and should not rely on the service as the sole repository of a project. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided during this phase without warranties as to continuity, results or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Accounts and registration by approval

You need an account to use the editor. During the beta period, registration is by approval: creating an account submits a request, and the account is only activated after we review it — you will receive the confirmation email at that point, and not before. We may decline or delay a request at our discretion; a request that is not approved is deleted, and the address is free to register again later. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity carried out under your account, including by members of your organization whom you invite. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement. Signing in creates a session cookie scoped to our domain, so a single login serves both the website and the editor.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Card details are handled by the processor and are not stored by us. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges and paid features remain available until the end of the period already paid for. Prices and plan contents may change during the beta period, with prior notice, and the change applies from the next billing cycle. Statutory consumer rights, including the right to withdraw within seven days of an online purchase under Brazilian law, are preserved.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the projects, files and data you create or upload. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, transmit and display that content so we can operate the service and deliver the results you ask for. We do not use your project content for advertising, and we do not disclose it except as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Storage, history and plan limits

Where your projects are stored depends on your plan: some plans keep projects in your own browser, others store them in our cloud. Projects held only in the browser live on that device — clearing site data, switching browser or losing the device loses them, and we cannot recover them. For cloud-stored projects we keep a version history that is dense for the most recent saves and thinned as versions age, up to a limited retention window, so it is a recovery aid rather than a permanent archive. Plans also carry usage limits, such as project counts and the maximum size of a saved document.

7. Sending projects to other accounts

The service lets you send a project to another account. Doing so delivers a copy of the content included in the send to the recipient, who then holds it in their own account. You are responsible for having the rights to share that content, and you acknowledge that a delivered copy cannot be recalled.

8. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, probe or breach its security, circumvent plan limits or feature gates, access it by automated means beyond documented and reasonable use, or attempt to derive, reproduce or resell the technology behind it. You may not use the service to infringe the rights of others or to violate applicable law.

9. Our intellectual property

The software, its interfaces, documentation, brand and everything else that makes up the service — excluding your content — belong to us or our licensors. Your plan grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; it transfers no ownership and grants no licence to the underlying technology.

10. Professional responsibility

The service is a design and estimating aid. Drawings, quantities, reports and any other output must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being used for construction, procurement, permitting or any other decision, and technical responsibility for the project remains with that professional. We do not verify compliance with codes, standards or local regulations.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for loss of profit, or for engineering, commercial or financial decisions made on the basis of outputs of the service; and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under consumer-protection rules.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these terms, non-payment, or a risk to the security of the service. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; after deletion your content is removed within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal obligations.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the protections owed to consumers under their place of residence. Questions about these terms can be sent to suporte@meshbim.com.br.
